Prof. Joe Zhu stated from how to select papers, how to write English papers and how to choose journals. The lecture was interactive. Dr. DU Juan firstly introduced her own research experience, and gave advices to students for collecting, reading, doing, thinking, asking, discussing and modifying.
Prof. Joe Zhu received his doctor degree in industrial engineering from University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1998. Prof. Joe Zhu is an expert in efficiency evaluation field, and his research interest includes Performance Evaluation and Benchmarking、Sustainable Design and Performance、Service Operations and Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA). Prof. Joe Zhu published more than 80 papers in Operations Research、Management Science and so on. He is an regional editor of OMEGA, associate editor of INFOR and an editorial board member of Computers & Operations Research.
Dr. DU Juan had her doctor degree in Management Science and Engineering from University of Science and Technology of China in 2010, and now she is a faculty of Tongji University. Her research field is Data Envelopment Analysis, and some her papers were published on EJOR and OMEGA.
Prof. Joe Zhu will stay in the School of Management until 11 July.
