Initial Leaders Summit of China Business School was held in Communication University of China on 18 December 2011. Prof. LI Jingwen, the Chinese Academy of Engineering and dean of Economics & Management School of Beijing University of Technology, QI Qinglun, standing vice chairman of “atom bomb, h-bomb and manmade satellites” historical research committee, Christian Delporte from EFMD and Prof. David Gosset from China Europe International Business School gave keynote speeches on the summit.

The summit was hosted by China MBA/EMBA Association and China Commercial College. The summit is one of exchange platforms for advanced business schools in China. Representatives of leaders, teachers and students from business schools of the whole country gathered together to summarize the study and gains in the year and discuss the cutting-edge topics. HU Shaoshan, deputy secretary general of alumni association and some other representatives attended the summit on behalf of USTC.

On the summit, ZHAO Leirong, president of MBA 9th Association of USTC won the title of “2011 Outstanding Student of China Business School”, which was picked through vote online and expert reviews, and he is the only one from Anhui who won the title. USTC alumnus HE Zuzhang and current MBA student WU Xinkun were awarded as “2011 China MBA Ten Entrepreneurship Star Enterprises”. Shanghai Xueyan Industry Co., Ltd., founded by HE Zuzhang, has a year-by-year rising business performance and won the honor of “China Top 100 Sheet Steel Trading Enterprises”. WU Xinkun’s Anhui Spider Information & Technology Co., Ltd and its branch Wende Data becomes one of the most powerful provider in host solution industry, through cooperation with world leading IDC software producer cPanel and R1Soft. Besides, EDP Centre of USTC was awarded as “2011 Top Ten Popular EDP Programs in China Business Schools”, and YE Guobin presented the summit on behalf of EDP Centre.

Christian Delporte had a warm exchange with MBA students from USTC, and highly praised MBA education in USTC.
