In the afternoon of 28 July 2012, commencement ceremony of initial present class of EDP Centre, School of Management was held in Gaosu New Century International Hotel. SHI Guangyong, vice president of Anhui Federations of Industry and Commerce, ZHOU Xianyi, vice president of Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC of USTC, LI Yongjiang, president of board of supervisors of Anhui State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, JIANG Chun, deputy director of Anhui Ministry of Education, YANG Shoutao, deputy director of Anhui Audit Office, HUANG Sufang, head of finance department, USTC, NI Rui, director of degree office of Graduate School, USTC, ZHU Dongjie, vice chairman of alumni association of USTC and representatives from the School of Management, USTC, such as executive dean LIANG Liang, secretary of the CPC CAO Weilin, deputy dean ZHAO Dingtao, assistant dean WU Lin, QU Qifa and etc., attended the ceremony.
ZHOU Xianyi, SHI Guangyong and LIANG Liang addressed on the ceremony. CAO Weilin declared the graduation of EDP Initial Present Class, and graduates got their degree certificates from distinguished guests.
Meanwhile, president association was founded once ZHU Dongjie declared. SHI Guangyong and ZHOU Xianyi unveiled the plaque for EDP president association.
EDP Centre of USTC has been founded over one year, and with the academic resources, strict educational standards and unique curriculum modules, it has educated over 400 entrepreneurs and more than 1,000 short-term trainee. The centre was awarded as one of the top ten popular EDP programs among Chinese business schools.
