On the morning of 24 July, the School of Management announced the conferment of Chair Professor upon Dr. CHU Chengbin, professor of Ecole Centrale Paris, France. The ceremony was held in meeting room 801, School of Management. Professor LIANG Liang, executive dean presided over the ceremony and conferred the certificate of honor on professor CHU Chengbin.

 

 

Professor CHU Chengbin is a first grade professor of France, an expert in optimization, production planning and scheduling, Supply Chain and Logistics. He has many papers published in fields of production system and logistics system, and he hosted projects of French Nuclear Energy Agency, French Central Government and European Union ESPRIT. Professor CHU was awarded first prize of Robert Faure and Best Transactions Paper Award-1998 by IEEE Robotics and Automation Society. He has made notable achievements in management science and engineering discipline, and enjoyed a high reputation in the world.
