On 1st September, more than 600 new MBA/MPA students from all over China went into the South Campus and completed their enrollment. GU Jibao, deputy dean of the Graduate School, HUANG Sufang, director of Finance Department, WANG Daogen, vice director of Finance Department, Hongjun, director of Security Department and ZHAO Dingtao, deputy dean of the School of Management went to the register locale to guide the register work as well as to communicate with new students to know their needs.

 

Opening Ceremony for 2012 MBA/MPA new students was held on the morning of 8th September. ZHANG Shulin, vice president of USTC, CHEN Wei, deputy dean of Graduate School and NI Rui, director of degree office were invited as distinguished guests, and leaders from the School of Management, like LIANG Liang, executive dean, CAO Weilin, secretary of CPC Committee, HUA Zhongsheng, deputy dean, ZHAO Dingtao, deputy dean, RUI Feng, deputy secretary of CPC Committee, HU Shaoshan, deputy secretary general of Alumni Association, ZHANG Shengliang, director of MBA Centre, ZHU Ning, vice director of MBA Centre, HUANG Youli and WEI Jiuchang director and vice director of MPA Centre attended the ceremony with all new MBA/MPA students.

 

ZHANG Shulin and LIANG Liang addressed on the ceremony, and TANG Min and CHEN Juanjuan spoke as representatives of senior students and new students respectively. 15 new students that performed excellently in entrance tests had been present prize after the ceremony.

 

Two-day orientation including special reports, orientation reports, class building and culture heritage and outstanding alumni reports was delivered during 9-10 September, making students understand the training goals, training plan, course offering, requirements of theses and so on.
