On 11 March, School of Management’s Assurance of Learning Seminar was held in the meeting room 912. The seminar was co-hosted by Dr. YU Yugang, vice dean of the school and Dr. LU Wei, assistant dean of the school. Attendees were HONG Jin, chair of Department of Business Administration, ZHAO Zheng, associate chair of Department of Business Administration, DU Shaofu, chair of Department of Management Science, JIN Qin, associate chair of Department of Management Science, HU Taizhong, chair of Statistics and Finance, GUO Xinshuai, associate chair of Department of Statistics and Finance, ZHANG Shengliang, director of MBA Centre, ZHU Ning, deputy director of MBA Centre, LUO Biao, director of EMBA Centre, XU Xiaoyan, director of MPM Centre, faculty representatives and staff of AACSB Promotion Office.

 

Dr. QIN Jin made an introduction to Assurance of Learning system from what AoL is, four steps of AoL Process to how to make good learning goals. Draft of standards 15-21 of School of Management, USTC was presented by Dr. CHU Zhaofang.

 

 

Based on the requirement of AACSB PreAccreditation Standards, examples given by AACSB International AoL seminar and characteristics of USTC, a rather lively discussion about the learning goals of each degree program lasted for hours.

 

The seminar was end at 10pm.. Learning goals of MBA, executive MBA, MPM and MF had been further modified.
