The competition attracted more than 400 teams from 70 different universities in China this year, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, University of Science and Technology of China, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Renmin University of China and Sun Yat-sen University. The competition consists of two major parts – CESIM business simulation round and case studies & CESIM simulation rounds. After the first one, top overall teams are invited to the finals. To make the competition clear, professional jury members are invited, who analyse and evaluate their performance. In addition to that, experienced guest lecturers are invited, and lectures on important topics are held throughout the final event.
Peak Time is the biggest international business student competition in Eastern Europe. The competition is organized annually, and attracts attention from excellent students from all over the world. Participants are required to complete various tasks and solve problems in real business activities. The competition is a unique platform, where the participants adapt their knowledge in practice, as well as expand their networks and gain knowledge about other cultures.
To order the cultivate talents competent in the application of management theory to practice, the School of Management tried its best to make experiential learning platform for students. The Youth League Committee, student union and graduate student union of the school have actively involved in organizing students for participating professional competitions at home and abroad. Students have made good performance in “Challenge Cup” China college students’ business plan competition, “Peak Time” business simulation competition and "Goldfuture Cup” national college students’ financial management case series.
