On Apr 10th, David Peckham, the senior international HR expert from Mandarin Consulting, talked about “Knock on Doors of the Fortune Global 500 Firms” in the School of Management.
Mr. Peckham analyzed how to obtain the offer from the Fortune Global 500 firms in terms of the personnel demand analysis, recruitment procedures and routine interview questions of multinational companies and so on. After the lecture, the students had heated discussions with Peckham about questions such as the personal career planning, what preparations students of science and engineering can make for entering international top companies and so on. The wonderful speech and wise answers attracted students deeply.
The lecture is a part of the career planning and employment development program of the School of Management to promote the quality of graduates employment and future career development.
David Peckham, graduated from Imperial College, has been in charge of many global public and private sectors, as the senior advisor of the World Bank and British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. He has excellent work experience in Western Europe, the United States, the Caribbean region, the Middle East and many other countries, which gives him the keen understanding of cross-culture. Mr. Peckham has successively tutored hundreds of Chinese students into the Fortune Global 500 firms.
