The 10th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management (ICSSSM 13) was held in Chinese University of Hong Kong on 17-19 July 2013. The conference was co-hosted by IEEE Systems, Man and Cybernetics Society, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Tsinghua University and Southwest Jiaotong University. Professors and PhD students in logistics supply chain, e-commerce, risk management from all over the world attended the conference, which is to provide an exchange opportunity for scholars, researchers, entrepreneurs and government personnel to exchange the latest research results and to discuss the future development.

PhD student FANG Yaner from School of Management, USTC won the Best Student Paper Award for her paper Equilibrium Contracting Strategies in Supply Chain to Supply Chain Competition, which was co-authored by professor HUA Zhongsheng from USTC, associate professor SHOU Biying from City University of Hong Kong and Dr. WANG Yaoyu from Suzhou University. FANG Yaner also had an introduction to her research results on contract issue in supply chain competition in the conference.

The conference received more than 300 papers from 15 countries and regions, and 167 papers have been selected to the conference proceedings. Three papers were awarded as The Best Paper through review and recommendation, and three were awarded as The Best Student Paper.
