To better serve alumni, strengthen connection between alumni and the university, the School of Management, USTC held Association Founding Meeting at the auditorium in the afternoon of 6 July 2013. School leaders, faculty representatives, and more than 500 alumni from different programs witnessed the foundation. The meeting was hosted by associate dean ZHAO Dingtao.

Executive dean LIANG Liang introduced the first board of directors to the attendees, and he also explained the purpose and functions of the association and the principle of the constitution of first board of directors.

The Constitution of USTC School of Management Alumni Association was passed in the meeting. Dean FANG Zhaoben and alumni representative GAO Kaihua unveiled the nameplate of the Alumni Association. Executive Dean LIANG Liang presented the letter of appointment to the vice president of the Alumni Association.

CAO Weilin, Secretary of School Party Committee welcomed all the attendees and thanked for the support from the University and alumni. KONG Manqin, President of Shanghai MBA Alumni of USTC, addressed as the representative of the alumni at the meeting. YU Yugang, associate dean of the School, introduced the development profile, school mission, the progress in AACSB Accreditation and the achievement in teaching, research and internationalization.

The foundation of the Alumni Association gives a formal exchange platform for the alumni and the school, and it also provides more resource for the school.
