The inaugural meeting of the Alumni Association for Entrepreneurs of EDP of USTC (AAE of EDP), also known as the Second EDP Cherry Blossom Festival, was held on morning of Apr. 12th, in the lecture hall of the School of Management.
Vice President of USTC, Zhou Xianyi; Vice President of Hefei University of Technology, Liang Liang; Vice President and General Secretary of the USTC Alumni Association, Zhu Dongjie; Secretary of the CPC Committee of School of Management, Cao Weilin; Associate Dean of the School of Management, Yu Yugang; and fellow alumni from various areas attended the meeting. The event was co-hosted by the EDP Center and the AAE of EDP of USTC.
As VP of USTC, Mr. Zhou addressed the meeting on behalf of the University of Science and Technology of China. He sincerely expressed his appreciation for the presence of the entrepreneurs and gave his genuine congratulations for the inauguration of AAE of EDP of USTC. He also commented highly on the development of the SOM and offered his valuable input regarding the matter.
Vice President and General Secretary of the USTC Alumni Association Zhu Dongjie read the Official Reply on Approval of the Inauguration of the Alumni Association of EDP of USTC from the Alumni Association of USTC (USTCAA) at the meeting.
Wu Linzuo, Assistant Dean of the SOM and President of EDP Center, reported on the preparation of the inauguration of AAE of EDP of USTC.
Secretary of the CPC Committee of School of Management Cao Weilin also spoke at the meeting on behalf of the SOM of USTC.
The Statutes of the AAE of EDP of USTC and the Suggested Members of the First Committee of the AAE of EDP of USTC was passed at the meeting.
Prof. Ding Guoyan (former Vice Executive Mayor of Xia Men, Dean of the School of Urban Construction and Economic Development of Hua Qiao University), Xu Yan (VP of National Development and Reform Commission of Anhui Province), Dong Shaoli (CPPCC Chairman of Hefei), Zhou Xianyi, Zhu Dongjie, Cao Weilin, Yu Yugang, and Wu Lin together issued the Letter of Appointment to the new Committee personnel.
