SCM Journal ListTM(http://www.scmlist.com/)is an annual ranking of global universities in supply chain management research. The ranking is based on papers published by global universities in 8 international top supply chain management academic journals. Four of the top eight journals are from the Financial Times and UT-Dallas Journal Lists, including Management Science, Operations Research, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management and Production and Operations Management. And the other four are from the top supply chain management industry association journals, including Decision Sciences Journal (Decision Sciences Institute), Journal of business logistics (Council of supply chain management professionals), Journal of operations management (APICS) and Journal of Supply Chain Management (Institute for supply management, ISM). The first four journals focus on model analysis, and the last four focus on empirical analysis. Unlike other rankings, SCM Journal listTM only uses the output of universities in top journals of supply chain management.
According to the publication of the eight top journals mentioned above, and the data statistics of the past five years (2014-2018), the University of Science and Technology of China ranks 93rd in the world, 9th in domestic universities and 5th in the mainland with a score of 6.83.According to the statistics of the past three years (2016-2018), the University of Science and Technology of China ranks 63rd in the world, the 6th in China and the 2nd in the mainland with the score of 5.17.
